New Guns to be issued to Iraqi Police.
Baghdad: New guns are on their way to Iraq's Police force. The pistols are a new design based on a joke toy pistol made in China. Smith & Wesson's Vice President of Marketing, Tom Tailor says that a call from Donald Rumsfeld's office in September 2006 prompted a scurry to produce 20,000 units of the special weapons. The guns are being produced in China by the Shoo Mi company of Chongqing, and will be arriving in Iraq next week.
