Add one more "Made in China" dangerous recall item to the list. Officials in Tuscaloosa, AL have reported several injuries to children as a result of defective playground slides that have sharp edges.When the city's parks department superintendent was questioned as to how such obvious flaws were not noticed by the crews that installed the slide, Superintendent Johnson said, "Well, we're all really busy here at the department... under staffed and under funded. We depend on the public to help us find these problems."
Now that the problems have been identified, it should only be about 4 weeks until the committee can decide what to do with the defective slides.
